The Pink Crochet Baby Dress – Free Pattern for Cute Baby Girls!

I’m really happy to share one of my favorite blog readers’ patterns for baby girls… the Pink Crochet Baby Dress!

About the name, “Pink Baby Dress”, I really think I could have put more energy to find a unique name, but when I look at it, I find it to be the perfect name, what do ya think? Well, I may change it later, maybe, but don’t let this simple name fool you, it’s a super cute baby dress.

Now, it’s your turn to crochet one (or perhaps two, three or more) for your sweetie, and also make some awesome gifts to your family and friends and spread the love.

The free crochet pattern below is for the baby dress, but while I was crocheting this simple yet beautiful baby dress, I decided to complete this project and design a complete set.

You can see the matching Pink baby hat pattern Here and the matching Pink baby booties Here.

I really love this set! Please leave a comment on the blog when you are done reading/crocheting. I love to see your beautiful finished items!

And if you’d like to download the patterns and print the complete pink baby dress set instead of reading on the blog, you can get the ad-free, printable PDF on Etsy Here.

As you may already know, I like cute, quick and easy projects. The fact is that I’m still at school, I have a lot of homework and many other things to do. I can crochet a cute baby girl dress like this one in one day. As for the baby booties and the hat, they both work up in just two hours.

As you can see, the pink baby dress is a cute but simple project. I used the SC / DC / Shell stitches, and that makes it a perfect match for you if you are a beginner. You’ll be able to crochet it during the weekend, impress people with your finished dress, and even sell a couple of those at craft fairs!

Isn’t it pure awesomeness?

Skill level: Easy/Medium

Sizes: 0-3 months.

MATERIALS/SUPPLIES:

You will need :

  • Crochet hook size: 4.00mm (G/6).
  • Yarn: Wool or cotton in any color (I used wool yarn Alize ŞEKERİM BEBE, 100% Acrylic / 100 g – 320 m, color Candy Pink and White).
  • Stitch markers.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn Needle.
  • Tape measure.
  • 1 bow. (you can see the tutorial Here).

STITCHES:

  • Ch– chain
  • St/sts-stitch/stitches
  • Sl st-slip stitch (Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook).
  • Sc-single crochet (Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops).
  • Dc-double crochet (Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops).
  • Lacy shell stitch (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) all in the same stitch ( ch space).

PATTERN NOTES:

The ch 3 count as a stitch.

If the number is written before the stitch 2 hdc work 2hdc into the same stitch. If the number is written after the stitch hdc 2 work hdc into next 2 stitches.

Repeat what is written in the () as many times as it’s written right after the (). For example: Repeat (2hdc, hdc1) 5 times. It means that you have to repeat the sequence work 2 hdc sts into the same st. 1 hdc into the next one 5 times. And you will get 5 additional stitches by doing that.

At the end of each round/row please count how many sts do you have at the end of that round/row.
